Adult controlled Kidco appliance lock automatically locks refrigerators, freezers and oven doors keeping wandering little hands from harm. Exclusive adult controlled on/off feature of the appliance lock automatically locks when in the "on" position. Lock can be undone with tabs on either side of the locking mechanism. Two piece appliance lock attaches directly to the door opening with super strong adhesive. Can be used on refrigerators, freezers and ovens. One 2-piece Kidco appliance lock per pack.
Installation: Suitable for heated surfaces up to 170°F. When possible, place lock out of child's reach. For side by side appliances, use one lock at top of each door. Determine best location for lock. Doors must be flush with appliance. Clean applicable surfaces. Peel backing from each tape and adhere to bottom of latch and catch. Position latch or catch on appliance door. With straight edges facing each other engaging latch arm over catch, making sure lock is aligned. Once location is determined, mark with pencil. Remove tape backing and press firmly on appliance. Adhesive reaches maximum strength in 24 hours.
Operation: catch lever slides up and down. In one position lock is "on" in the other it's "off". When lock is "on", pull latch arm clear of catch while opening door. When closing door, lock engages automatically. This product is not a substitute for adult supervision. Never leave child unattended.
