The ideal gate for homes that do not have mounting points that are straight across. The standard gate including five interlocking sections can be set in either a straight line or can be angled to enclose hearths 6' wide by 2' deep. You can also use the optional 24" extensions to enclose a larger hearth or wood burning stove. The Hearth Gate also includes in its basic set, a walk through gate that can be installed anywhere in the configuration. The walk through gate features a one hand adult release and allows you to open it in either direction.
The Kidco Hearth Gate is 28" high and is constructed of a strong tubular steel that has a black, non-toxic and heat resistant finish. Simply determine the area you wish to protect or isolate, place objects at 24" intervals along the desired configuration and count the number of 24" segments to see how many sections you will need. The Hearth Gate is intended for use with children from 6 to 24 months. Install according to manufacturer's instructions. This is KidCo¹s G70 Model Hearth Gate.
For additional length, use with an 8" extension or a 24" extension.
